  Very well equipped and comfortable cottages - spotlessly clean and everything seemed almost brand new. Close proximity to the Nurburgring a bonus but far enough away to be very peaceful with lovely views over rolling countryside. Excellent Spa included in the price.   The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. Not many hotels would do that!   We were made to feel very welcome. Monika added so many extra special touches such as complimentary cakes and coffee on arrival, with chocolates for the children. Gluhwein one evening.   The gasthof is great and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are great (real German) and even for a single biker this place is excellent. The beds are very good and the rooms are very nice without television as you don't need there. This place is a really top to explore the Mosel area in common. - The owner was exceptionally nice. It felt like we were spending the night with our Aunt. The facilities are quaint but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. It was a high point in our trip. The town is quiet and beautiful with the river running through it. A great stay.

Our host was extremely efficient and friendly, made a great effort to ensure we were comfortable and after feeling bad she forgot cheese for our brekky insisted we make breadrolls and pack them for lunch which was great. Moselshcild restaurant nearby has a fantastic wine list but the service was a bit poor when we went and it wa - We stayed just one night on our trip to Mosel wine region. Despite bad weather, owners made our stay very pleasant. There is family winery right in the house and there is no problem to visit it and taste their wines. This is a kind of hotel you feel like home. We can absolutely recommend it.

  This hotel was on the outskirts of Bad Durkheim (a short drive). We were 3 friends traveling together and their triple room was perfect. In fact the room could sleep 3 adults in single beds and 2 children (in a bunk bed) very comfortably. The additional single bed and bunk beds were in a separate room. We had a very large room, clean and comfortable room, with a large balcony hugging the mountains. It was clearly off season, and we were the only guests at the hotel. But, the breakfast room was set as if the hotel was full, and a wonderful breakfast was prepared for us. This says a lot.

  It is max 15 minutes walk away from Frankfurt-hahn airport (down on the left hand side as you walk on the road out from the airport, you will see a redish house down where the car parking is, walk down through the car parking). Hope this review helps someone, Dave ( www.cai.org ) - We had an flight from Frankfurt airport and picked up this hotel. Location is perfect, just 10 min walk to airport. Hotel has its own restaurant with very good food and big portions. Stuff was very friendly and spoke some English. Room was very clean and comfy, we had a good night sleep. Also car park was available for 2€ per day. Was just perfect for us (as we left our car there and flew to Sardinia).
