  This is a dream hotel for weekend with friends - great facilities, wonderful restaurants and bars, superb rooms and service. A perfect combination of old-fashioned style and modern comfort.   The location at the Düsseldorf Hafen is a perfect fit allowing to be far away from the hipe of the city i.e sleeping well whilst you can fetch a taxi and be with 10 minutes at the Kö for shopping - It was absolutely lovely and the staff were amazing.   The hotel is set in a peaceful, rural setting. The staff were efficient rather than friendly. The room was spacious though the the wardrobe space was cramped. There were tea making facilities in the room. It was very clean and 'done out' to a good standard. The breakfast was of an excellent standard. - We stayed on a beautiful summer night.   This is a great hotel and well deserving of its 4 start rating. We did get a double upgrade to the executive suite which was superb but the standard is reflected throughout the hotel.
