Newly refurbished so everything was clean, functional, basic but such good value! Location was very good, just inside the old town walls 100 meters from the Opera House underground station 15 mins to airport. Staff very helpful but relaxed, they made me feel welcome. This was my first time staying at a hostel (I am 64) but having booked a double room for single use I felt very comfortable in this mostly younger backpacker environment. You are able to come and go as you please with card entry to.
所有评语 » This is a hostel, but much nicer and better equipped than usual hostels. If you don't mind that you have to share the bathroom, it is an excellent value for price. It must have been recently refurbished, our room still had a "new" smell and feeling. The location is great, inside the old city walls, very near to the train station. The staff is very helpful, friendly and nice, all speak excellent English. Breakfast is not included but you can buy an excellent breakfast for a good price if you wan. Very, very good hostel in Nuremberg. Reception staff very friendly, they told us where can we go to have dinner. Room to leave luggage during the last day. Possible to cook. Included in the price sheets, blankets and towels. Clean, modern and very spacious rooms with locker. Showers and bathrooms clean and modern. Located in the old town, but in a quiet street, close to the walls. Free Wifi in all the building. Tablets with internet in the hall. This is a great hostel! Our double room was huge and the bed very comfortable, the shared bathroom modern and always clean. The kitchen and eating area downstairs is also very practical and in good condition. Not a party hostel (no real common area apart from the dining area) but for a quiet city break for a couple/family or friends this is a brilliant option! A good location too, right between the Hauptbahnhof and the old town. This was one of the best (if not THE best) hostels I have stayed at whilst backpacking through Europe for the past 4 months. Nice big clean rooms, great kitchen and common area, good location in the old town and it was so cheap! The breakfast options are an awesome idea and reception selling beers is ace. Highly recommend this hostel :). Very well located hostel, in the Altstadt but close to the Main Station. The staff was totally nice and helpful! The common kitchen is well equiped, the room was very clean and with great windows. The shower was also great. I highly recommend Five Reasons and surely could give you more than five reasons to stay there!. There is wi-fi everywhere: at hall, at my floor, at my room. Good connection, good speed. Very big kitchen with a dinner room. You can cooking and eat using hostel's dishes. The staff is very friendly. The hostel has an exсellent location - just on the side of the down town and near to the train station. Five Reasons is an excellent hostel with great, clean facilities. The location could not be more perfect. Really close to Opernhaus U-Bahn station and very central. The staff are really friendly and all speak English. The breakfast was good value for money and delicious. Almost everything was wonderful. Location, safety, staff service, room, bathroom and kitchen with frizer and oven have been very well managed. Even an elevator was provided. The view from the room made us feel like we're being in a medival city. Everything was very clean, the room was large with lots of light. Use of a baby crib was free and convenient. The kitchen was spacious and clean. The location was great, right in town and looking over a beautiful city, and parking was free. Good location - only 10 mins walk from the station and at the edge of the old town. The bedroom and shared bathroom are very clean. Central location on quiet street. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Very secure. The noise created by night club revelers on Saturday night into Sunday morning walking under my window (3rd floor room facing the city wall); just voices, shouting, laughing but intrusive. I had the window open for ventilation.... Shut (double glazed) I afterwards realized it would have muffled such sounds! So, on a Saturday night, if your room is facing the street... Take a deep breath of fresh air just before bedding down for the night and then fasten tight shut the large picture windows!. You cannot book the parking places beforehand, you can only get them on a first come first served basis, so for the first day we had to park in a nearby parking house (walking distance) for 16 EUR, but we could move our car to one of the free places the next day. So you must be aware that you might not be able to park at the hostel when you arrive (especially if you arrive on a Saturday evening). The walls are a bit thin and during the night the noises in the corridor are heard in the rooms. I hardly sleept there becouse it located cllose to the big road. Cars run at the night too noisy. Kitchen needs a microwave and some more middle sized deep vowls for self- cathering travelers. The wifi was down for almost the entire duration of our stay. nothing at all!. Some other reasons not that good: you are doomed if they put you in 4th floor. There are no sockets to plug you stuff over the beds, nor private light (like in the other rooms). The 4 beded rooms are connected through a door so it´s really a room for 8 people. Moreover, there is no shared bathroom in the that floor so you must migrate to another. They should charge a lower prize for rooms in this floor since they don´t offer the same facilities. The kitchen has no microwave. I can't really complain! For a small budget, it was great. The breakfast is good but a little light. The parking lot is tiny. No private bathrooms. Also, shower doors were a bit weird - they didn't have a lock and were quite short doors so if you were tall you would be able to see in!!. Pillows were incredibly fluffy and the blanket was not practical to use, i.e. the usual Bavarian way of sleeping. Not all the floor have bathroom and toilet, I have to walk from 4/f to use the toilet, even at midnight. No mirror in the room at all and door lock was not working. Nowhere to put clothes in the shower Could do with an armchair in the bedroom. Nothing particularly. It would be a good idea to provide shower caps, as there really is no good way to have a shower without getting the hair wet due to the rain shower head up in the ceiling. The hand held option shoots water with such a force from the small nozzle that the overhead shower is really the preferred choice. But this is really just a teeny weeny inconvenience, the whole shower issue, as the bathrooms are really very nice!. - View from windows on walls. Nothing comes in my mind now. Room a little small with not enough hanging space for wet towels. But that's a minor point. There was no parking and we had problems finding place to park there. We ended up leaving car 300m further on the street. The internet connection was very slow and hard to use (but the nice guy at reception said we should have tell them and they would fix the problem). In the shared dorm, there were no electricity plugs for people on the upper beds. If I were traveling alone I could not charge my things during the night if I want to keep my things next to me for safety reasons. No a/c. If you need to clean your laundry, it will take a time to get a laundry shop. None. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbours all through the night. Shared bathrooms, although they were of a very good standard!. Slightly expensive for a hostel. price. Shared washrooms were clean but not designed well (opening the door creates a view straight into the men's shower). Pretty noisy at night from train and vagrants. As with nearly all hostels, a better description of walking access would be appreciated. For visitors newly arriving in a city, a Google map can be very inadequate.
