  The hotel was VERY nice. I travel extensively and it is my favorite small hotel in the world. I have stayed there twice now, and each time the owner and the staff have been most gracious and friendly. The restaurant is superb and the small bar friendly. We ate and talked there every night.   Friendliness of the owner management team and family atmosphere - The included breakfast was greatly appreciated. The onsite restaurant food was excellent. Plenty of onsite parking. Easy walking distance to shopping and dining locations in Meppen.
