  We have been travelling for four months and have stayed in some wonderful places. Villa Alkener was a highlight of our trip. It has a spectacular view of the Mosel River with boats drifting slowly by and trains meandering around the base of the mountains,. You can also take a great 2 hour boat cruise with cake and coffee virtually f - We loved everything about this apartment, We had the top floor with a great view of the river. Off street parking. Large rooms. Very good air conditioning. Really was five star. Great location, half way between Koblenz and Cochem. Easy drive or bus ride or ferry in either direction.

  The entire staff was superb! Heidi was most friendly, helpful and engaging. The hotel is clean. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The breakfast was ample and fresh. The food from the restaurant was outstanding. Alken is a pretty village on the Mosel River. Convenient to boat tours and the walk by the water. The Burg Thurant is right up the hill.... 别人怎么说 » Close to Cochem and Eltz castle. I would stay there again. - Loved the location right on the Mosel. A quiet road between hotel and river. We had a picnic supper on the river on a glorious evening. The hotel was very attractive inside and out, with cosy drinking and eating areas in traditional German country style. Bedrooms viewed either the river or Schloss Thurant on the hill behind. Owner friendly and interested in our comfort and welfare.
