  When we arrived, we found parking available and were stunned by the beautiful view and garden. Beatrice welcomed us warmly and showed us to our large fabulous room. It was spotless and decorated perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly - quite neighborhood with no sound of trains or highway noise.   We booked two bedroom apartment at Alkenerweg 8. It was quite big - 5 adults and 2 kids had enough space. The kitchen facilities are OK (dish washer was a great help). The view from the balcony is excellent - wineyard, then Mosel and hills. The apartment has dedicated parking place. The price is great. There is a grocery store near by, so we could eat at home. There is a great bakery right around the corner. It is a great base to see the Mosel and the Rhine and all the beauty the area has to offer.
