  we liked the atmosphere and the history of the building and surrounding area. The cleanliness of the area and the short walk to the harbour etc we would have loved to stay longer - Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, perfect location for viewing the whole of this very interesting city on foot. Everything impeccably clean and well organised.

  The hotel is literally on the sea shore. We were there during the winter, so the entire bay was frozen but can just imagine how wonderful it must be in the summer so close to the water. Nevertheless a beautiful white wondeland in the winter.The restaurant in the hotel is not to be missed.   Quiet location. Nice room and a good breakfast. To reach town by foot takes a nice 10-15 minute walk along a footpath that crosses a pond. - We felt very much at home in the relaxing surroundings. It was like home from home. Excellent.
