  Reception staff excellent, all three I spoke to very helpful. New ownerstook over on jan 1st. And are refurbishing starting with the receptionarea. It is a seven minute walk to main railway station and mainshopping area and river rhine are within walking distance. Hot and coldbuffet breakfast choice excellent.   This is a fantastic hotel which is very close to the Old Town and all the shops. It is also accessible to lots of other attractions by the close tram/train links. All in all, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Would recommend to anyone. Don't be put off that it's 15 mins south of the train station - we were given free tram passes on arrival, the trams are 3 an hour, and they take 10 minutes to Konigsalee, or the Altstadt.
