  Staff were friendly and helpful. Food excellent - The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant looked very good though we unfortunately had other plans that evening and thus had no chance to try it. Kaub itself is a pretty little town on the banks of the Rhine; it is worth wandering up to the castle or along part of the Rhine route (Rhein Steig... 别人怎么说 » ) as it is only from above that you can see how ancient the town really is.

  The staff at this hotel were excellent! I especially liked the two girls(one from the Czech Republic and the other from Slovakia) that workedhere, as they both had great people skills.   We liked the authenticity of the Castle. The staff made us feel special. They were well educated on the food, wine, history of the area. Also very accommodating when it came to luggage needs. Porter service to get luggage from parking to the castle is great as the person brought the bags to our rooms (tower rooms). Staff checked us in at 12(noon) and very accomodating with an infant.

  Ellen and Dirk are wonderful hosts who make your stay memorable. We had a room that included a sitting room, large bedroom and a very large bath. We overlooked one of the towns towers and the Rhine River. We also ate at the Bacharacher Hof restaurant twice and the food far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the Bacharacher Hof for your Rhine vacat - The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. The location was very convenient to the train station and was situated in a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing in the charming Rhine town. There are many wonderful sights in easy walking distance and it was also very close to the K-D ferry terminal where we embarked on a Rhine cruise. An amazing historic location all in all.

  Within minutes of clicking "book now", our experience with Restaurant Pension Bei-der-Post was nothing short of wondeful. Becky and Gary immediately sent a personalized email thanking my wife and I for our booking, offering to answer any questions we had. Not only did they offer to be there when we arrived and store our bags, they did something no other hote - Have had an eventful few days! Stayed with the lovely Rebecca Crosby and Gary Crosby at "Hotel bei der Post" in Bacharach, saw some beautiful castles (even one in the middle of the Rhine)! Had a great time drinking local beer and watching the soccer. Caught a ferry across to Rüdesheim and have fallen in love! Had real Rüdesheimer kaffee and waffeln at a very bayern-german restaurant while watching the snowfall outside. Our hotel room is gorgeous - so romantic and typical german. making a lot of
