Ellen and Dirk are wonderful hosts who make your stay memorable. We had a room that included a sitting room, large bedroom and a very large bath. We overlooked one of the towns towers and the Rhine River. We also ate at the Bacharacher Hof restaurant twice and the food far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. The location was very convenient to the train station and was situated in a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing in the charming Rhine town. There are many wonderful sights in easy walking distance and it was also very close to the K-D ferry terminal where we embarked on a Rhine cruise. An amazing historic location all in all.
