  This small hotel is beautifuly located on the edge of Grainau village with stunning views of the mountans. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a small balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent although we were surprised to find several dogs in the breakfast room. They were well behaved though and we soon got used to them.   We liked the location of the hotel in the picturesque village of Grainau, and also the traditional chalet design. Our spacious room with balcony looked out at the Zugspitze which was spectacular.
