The hotel can be reached via the Zugspitzebahn, bus or taxi from the Garmisch train station. This is a lovely place, although next time we would get a room with the water view and stay longer. Scenery is spectacular, staff at the hotel the best- had a fabulous meal and evening in the restaurant our group adored the gentleman from Hungary who waited on us and made us feel to home, the young lady working the bar was quite delightful too- exceptional hospitality!.
