  It's a family run hotel and I haven't seen that German hospitality anywhere in Germany. Those are some really nice couple!!! Nice antique hotel decor. Nice mountain view from the balcony. Only 5 minutes drive to Garmisch. It's a plus to have wireless internet also.My husband and I love to stay in this hotel over and over again.

  We stayed for two nights and our room was clean, well thought out and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.   The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the pool, whirlpool and sauna were wonderful. 15 minutes from Garmisch, but it was nice to be away from the busy area down there. The Dome was fantasic and across the street - I stayed at the hotel last month, no issues using the VAT (19% tax savings form for the US Military). As nice as the hotel was, and it was nice, made for a poor ending.
