  Gorgeous views. Next to hiking trails and near Alpine waterfalls in the area near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. About 40 minutes from Neuschwanstein, and about 20 minutes from Linderhof or Oberammergau.   The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the pool, whirlpool and sauna were wonderful. 15 minutes from Garmisch, but it was nice to be away from the busy area down there. The Dome was fantasic and across the street - I stayed at the hotel last month, no issues using the VAT (19% tax savings form for the US Military). As nice as the hotel was, and it was nice, made for a poor ending.
