  Nice friendly couple who speak excellent English and have a wonderful Hotel, the room was more like a small apartment with it's small but very well equipped kitchenette. Breakfast, Ahh! Breakfast! I wish we were staying for longer instead of just passing through... Though I would advise you to keep your windows closed overnight if you are a light s... 别人怎么说 » leeper, The Airforce get up awfully early. - I am a frequent traveller to Europe especially to Germany and found Hotel Karsten one of the best to stay near the Cologne Airport. Hotel staff and particularly Mr. Frieben (Owner) were amazing in terms of giving very personal service. I found it like sitting in my home, excellent in terms of everything. I would definitely stay again as a loyal guest!

  Everything was excellent. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, as well as very efficient. The apartments were gorgeous - spacious, very well maintained and comfortable. The beds were super-comfortable and clean, the clothes closet quite spacious. The kitchen was very convenient - this was the feature that attract - There are so many excellent things about the Apartments, but it would be difficult not to mention first of all the location. It is 5 minutes from the station and the Cathedral. Normally that would sound warning bells as many hotels close to city centre stations are in seedy areas. This is not the case here; the neighbourhood is a pleasure to walk around and entirely safe. The staff are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The apartments are very spacious with all the facilities one needs

  The hotel located in a nice and quiet area of the city, just several steps away from the metro station. 15 minutes walk to the cathedral, 10 minutes to Belgian quarter. We had the room 52 as we asked (thank you by the way!).
