  This was a great little hotel in the centre of the city. 3 mins to the Dom, 5 mins to the main station, 1 min to the shops. Great value for money. Lovely hotel staff. Suprisingly no nose from the streets. - good location,the cathedral,river rhine andmuseums all within walking distance.

  We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close, easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot. Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet).   The location was terrific. Just a stone's throw from the big cathedral. The lower floor of the hotel is a giant restaurant serving some of the best food in town at rock-bottom prices. I got a room facing the inner courtyard, so although the hotel was in the centre of town, it was extremely quiet. Great for sleeping.
