The location was excellent for getting to the city centre, railway station, Cathedral, shops and river. The parking cost on street was very reasonable and by a park within short walk of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with his/her sinks and a bath/shower. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room included breakfast which was served very fresh and was delicious and the prefect start to a day explor.
所有评语 » The Staff were very Helpful and friendly. We asked about a Gluten free option for the breakfast and they provided us with GF bread (which is amazing to find in Germany). We were a bit worried about noise since its close to a main road but our room overlooked a small courtyard and it was very quiet. The Breakfast was good. fruit, breads, 2 or 3 types of hams and cheeses, cearals. It is not the fanciest of hotels but it is clean, it is quiet and the breakfast is decent and the staff are very frie. The People in charge is awesome, gentle and warm. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk, those at the breakfast buffet, which is nutritious and well served by the way, and the understanding, about my times and schedules, room cleaning lady who taked care of my place accurately and smily everyday,thanks! Amazing location, train station a couple blocks away, tourist and shopping areas 5 min walk. Beside been into a busy though quiet area in the city. Excellent!. Very nice hotel. It is located not very far from central railway station and Cologne Dom, which is good for travellers and sightseers.Ubahn station is virtually across the road. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Regular european breakfast. A lot of cafes and small shops nearby for dinner. From my point of view, it is worth its price. When I would be in Cologne next time, I'm going to book it again. An excellent hotel and very good value for money. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom good. Shower head in our room was a bit "wonky". Good location with restaurants close by. Ten minute walk to the cathedral and then on to the river. No parking with hotel but cheap street parking less than five minutes away. An excellent city stop over. We will use it again. Excellent breakfast!!. Room service, Cleanliness, staff, position, amenities, full continental breakfast, all at a very good price. Whatever the star rating given to/by the hotel , we rate it at 4 stars for sure. We could compare it as the best with our other hotels in the same trip in Guangzhou, China; in Wormerveer, Holland; in Brussels, Belgium. Cologne can be very expensive for hotels close to the station, but this one was fantastic, very helpful staff with good English skills, a warm welcome, good wifi, a clean spacious room, lovely breakfast and an efficient system for leaving your bags. I would always stay here from now on. Good clean and comfortable, for our weekend break. Hansaring station, 5 minute walk, goes directly to the airport and links you in one stop to the central station adjacent the Cathedral, and from there you can easily access the excellent rail network for local and long distance travel. Location perfect, just a few meters from the train station and many good restaurants. Very attentive staff, good breakfast, cozy rooms, very clean. The hotel is situated at a walking distance from the main railway station and all main touristic attractions and at the same time not too close to the noisy central part of the city. We had trouble with our wifi connection and TV so they gave us a free upgrade to a huge suite bigger than my condo at home! Location very convenient, walking distance to train station and lots of nice restaurants nearby. Location. Just a 8 minute walk from main railway station plus another just 200 yards from hotel. We could hear the other guests opening and closing their room doors but it wasnt too loud and we didnt hear anything after 11pm. Our TV did work but the reception didnt so we had no tv..but it didnt matter to us as we were not there to watch tv!. The w.c. (toilette) is very strange, unique, haha. . None at all!!!. the only negative in my particular room was a loose shower head that wouldn't stay put, but I am very sure that if we had reported it to the staff it would have been fixed quickly. Absolutely nothing. Bad noise insulation. Breakfast was not great quality. Booked a three bedded room but third bed was a 'put you up' type although room was plenty big enough to fit a more comfortable bed. I have seen nothing negative at the Hotel. none. Pillows are too flat. Mattress is a bit like jelly. Rooms on first floor giving on the street: too noisy. Ask a room not next to the elevator, otherwise you will not sleep. Cleaning is done for sure, it always look impeccable but there is always a little something that s gone wrong. A light bulb not working, a cigarette butt in the toilets (that was gross, then I thought it meant not only somebody smoked in that room and the toilets were not cleaned). Noise during the night made by guests (so noisy!!). The hours for breakfast were fairly short and the buffet was only okay- not bad- just okay. Breakfast was the same everyday, not many options. the breakfast a little limitted to the basic thing, but all fresh and clean. The room was a bit small-. The car is very difficult to find parking. Parking is also very expensive. Relatively poor breakfast selection, e.g. omlet is served only on weekends... Sound isolation could be better. Nothing as such. The bed was too soft. The ventilation in the toilet was not good and the smell stays in for a long time :-(. Some staff not so friendly and helpful. Wifi wasn't working so well, which made organising a bit difficult. One of the night duty staff was extremely rude using foul language to one of my colleague s without provocation. Which let the rest of the staff down. Some furniture a little wobbly, lift occasionally unreliable. In triple room 3d bad was not comfortable. Street noise. Not enough parking places. Problems with wifi connection (filled agreement, got login/password, didn't work). Lack of tea/coffee facilities in room. The pillows are very flat and there were no available extra when we asked. This should be improved. elevator is old.
