The the location of this hotel was amazing, Located halfway between Checkpoint Charlie and a remaining portion of the wall with a great exhibit. The hotel was new and very clean but I had a few problems which I will give in details on the next section but the hotel staff adjusted my bill to reflect these issues and were very courteous. They took off 10% of my bill and also included breakfast which was nice because since it was 14 Euros I wouldn't have taken it otherwise. The restaurant adjacent.
所有评语 » The location of the hotel, which is right beside Check Point Charley, and represents a perfect starting point for an historical and cultural sightseeing! Moreover, the confort of the room: my wife and I had read several negative reports about a supposed "glass wall" in the room, between the toilette and the bedroom, but that turned out in-existent. Maybe the problem had been satisfactorily solved!. The room was comfortable and extremely clean which is extremely important. The staff were friendly and accommodating, their dealing with customers is very honest. I had privacy and comfort and all I needed really. The best thing about it is that you get great value for your money. The location was safe and ideal, it is on the frontline between east and west Berlin, how much better can it get!?. Great location, walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate or shopping area on Friedrichstrasse. Very clean, the hotel is brand new, rooms are pleasantly decorated. Great breakfast, large choice of foid, however rather expensive 14 euro. The parking place can be reserved, which is great, no need to worry about finding one available upon arrival. The location was excellent, right in the very heart of Berlin, where all historical monuments and Friedrichstraße shops and malls are few minutes away as is the U-bahn stations. The staff was very helpful and quick to answer our demands. The hotel seemed to be brand new with comfortable furnishing. The breakfast was fairly rich and delicious. Best hotel that we got from our Europe trip! The location is amazing, surrounding by heaps of historical sites, and Berlin Walls are just few steps away! The rooms are clean and beautiful. The room was clean and well appointed. Next morning the directions for sight seeing were very clear and helpful. we were able to get a lot done in the short time that we were there. We must say it was a pleasant experience and we would come back here, when we visit again. The Staff were excellent from the time we checked in with the front desk staff (forgotten the guys name, he is an asset to your hotel) nothing was too much trouble for him. I had 2 problems with my room that were resolved with an adjustment to the bill since the hotel was full and they couldn't move me to another room. Also the heat didn't work in my room but it was the end of August & I am overly sensitive to the cold. The breakfast was 14 Euros. Nothing in particular... maybe, they should clean more the moquette on the first floor!. The room is rather small and the bathroom wall has a window looking into the room!! Very weird! You can see through on both sides, I couldn't really understand the point if the window... Breakfast is rather expensive, a couple can eat at a backerei with half the price of breakfast. The breakfast was a bit overpriced (14€) and surprisingly, the room wasn't equipped with coffee maker. The pillows and blankets were a bit uncomfortable although the staff offered us extra pillows and blankets on request. We would have preferred more news Channels in English. Not a thing. Bravo. expensive breakfast so better eat somewhere else, wi-fi is fast but you have to log in every time you want to use it which is a bit frustrating, especially on a mobile device. Also, hotel used its own conversion rate when they charged me for the stay which turned out to be less favorable than the regular Visa rate. They didn't ask me if I wanted to use it and than on the slip it said that I accepted the rate and was given an option of not using it... Would appreciate being asked... Nothin' ;). Nothing!. Narrow double room, very slow Wi-Fi internet connection and very uncomfortably that every time you want to use internet you have to write your data (room number, your name, etc.); expensive breakfast. Nothing. House cleaning should be done in more detail. The room should be thoroughly vacuumed. Also, clean sheets shouldn't have any stains on them. Room was quite small but suited us well so we weren't bothered really. Large, floor to ceiling window between the bedroom and the bathroom, looking right in from the bed to the toilet. No way to block out the light into the bedroom, or the view into the bathroom. No coffee / tea in the room, or even a Do Not Disturb sign or information on the hotel...but being that the hotel is less than a week open, those may be coming still. long rectangular pillows synthetic. Limited parking places. But there is a parking garage at Fridrichstrasse resp. Taubenstrasse just few hundred meters away and for only 4.50 EUR/24hrs! Rather expensive breakfast but you can have a breakfast anywhere around. Reception staff during day not so friendly. Cleaning staff knocked on my door 3 times before checkout time, starting at 9.30am. Dividing walls not very soundproofed. There was a communication error between letsbookhotel.com and the hotel and we did not originally get the room that we reserved. But the hotel did fix the error to my satisfaction. I also wish that they had a better set up for parking. The toom wasnt teafy when i arrived and they still would be cleaning rooms around 5 pm. The staff was polite but not overly helpful, and directed us to a restaurant that had been closed for months. After reconfirming that the two rooms we booked would be "close" to each other, check in clerk reiterated that they were. They were not, and we had to get one of the rooms moved, which took an inexplicably long process that was never really explained. None. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel. No complimantary breakfast. tv channels in French. Rooms are a little bit small and I cannot understand why there is a transparent full length glass panel in the wall separating the toilet/shower from the sleeping area.Some people prefer to carry out their ablutions in private and their wishes should be accommodated. Coffee and tea facilities would have helped. Rude staff!. Not enough parking space. We had to park our car elsewhere. Expensive breakfast, but backery nearby.
