Nice folks clean room and marble bathroom,good food (but Hackeschermarkt platz a few feet away, full of indoor/sidewalk food places. Short walk to cathedral (Lutheran) with magnificent music for Sunday services and spectacular Vatican like interior. A few more feet and you are at the magnificent Pergamum museum (filled witth entire temples and gates from Ancient Greek city and Babylon. Trains, trolleys, water tour all in five minutes walk. A great find, will return. Oh, the actual fireoplace an.
所有评语 » The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay. Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :). The hotel is located right next to museum island, a train station and near lots of restaurants. Location wise it was therefore as good a place to stay as anywhere in Berlin. Whilst the room was a tad small it was comfortable and it was nice to find a place with air conditioning in what was been a long hot summer. The breakfast in this hotel is superb as it tastes great and has lots of variety. What a great hotel!!!great stuff.best location...hotel much better than shown on fotos...it s not a 3 star hotel...much better than most 4 star hotels i ve visited...reception place and bar so relaxing...rooms relaxing too..breakfast is great...kept me strong for the whole day...defitely coming back to this hotel!!trust me...i m most of the time a bad reviewer... The atmosphere of the hotel was cosy and relaxing, the lobby, the bar and the restaurant were very nice designed, the hotel has a great position near a market full of terasses and restaurants, near metro station, walking distance from Alexanderplatz. I loved the colour-scheme of my room, echoing the colours of Berling as seen throught my window. I also loved the internet access that was offered and the helpfulness of staff. I especially loved the closeness to Museum Island. The hotel is located close to Museumsinsel and Friedrichstraße - a perfect location to explore Berlin. The hotel is beautifully designed. Hang out in the courtyard. And if you like for breakfast - look forward to the tea-buffet. Very lovely, smart, and clean hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, extremely central to a lot of sights in Berlin and close to public transport. The breakfast was excellent and the library/bar area relaxing and cosy. Perfect!. We only stayed one night, very short trip so although the rooms are very small, they are very comfortable and perfect value for money. Excellent hotel at best location near Hackischer Markt in Berlin Mitte. For Americans, room a bit small, but very clean and bed is comfortable. Elevator was down for a day , but thats fine. It was a bit too dark in the room in evening, probably, some additional lamps should be added. The hotel is newer and not 100% complete. The room could have been better lit. The lift was out on the morning of our departure making checking out a more burdensome process than it needed to be. Despite these minor issues I would stay there again and again if I was in Berlin. If you don t need a fridge in the room and a kettle go for this hotel...i didn t really mind about that kind of facility...big double bed could be more comfortable but also didn t mind because the hotel was so relaxing...i had stayed in hotels with a fridge and better beds but everytbing else was so bad that i was disappointed...so go for it!!!they deserve the price they ask...you can give less money for a hotel in berlin...but it won t be part of a great holiday. Rooms a tad small. Desk not suitable to get serious work done. Shower has no door or curtain, so if you forget to put a towel on the floor (which I did) you flood the bathroom. WiFi kinda slow. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as, at eur 13 per person, it was expensive and we had a very good breakfast for less than that at the nearby Barist restaurant in Hackesher Markt. So we can't comment on the restaurant facilities as we didn't use them. The room and bed were a little bit small. There was nothing I didn't like - but I didn't take breakfast as I didn't want a big breakfast and could get one so much cheaper outside. The rooms are quite small with little space for putting clothes. Watch out for rooms towards the roads, they are busy, and it can be quite noisy at night. Sound of the trains and tram at night could be a bit disturbing but it all adds to the feel of berlin. The room was rather small and didn't correspond to the pictures I saw online. The room was tiny and too hot. We could not regulate the temperature and it was too loud to open the window. The room was quite small, but since we only spent time sleeping there it did not matter. Our only complaint was the air conditioning. We visited in July, and the weather was quite warm. The air conditioning unit could only be set for 18 C at its lowest. Although 18 C is fine, the room never truly got below 23 C. This made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Not many vegetarian choices in the restaurant. Coming from Australia, we are used to having coffee making facilities in our hotel rooms and that is one thing that we missed at Mon Bijou (and other European hotels). only one complaint and other reviews had picked up on it also, the internet is slow and you have to put in your password every time you log on, please guys faster wireless internet in the rooms!!!! :). One morning when I left the room and took the elevator to go down, there were two blankets left in the elevator, thrown on the floor clearly from the cleaning staff. Nothing!!. No a/c in bedroom so too warm. Nothing. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to leave so soon :). Small dark room. Due to the mid-brown coloured walls. No pictures! They would have brightened the room somewhat. The staff opened the door room 3x on the last day, before checkout time. Very recent hotel some construction work is still under going. The room was tiny. All good!. Small issue with shower/wet room in that the bathroom was quickly flooded. not very comfortable parking, you have to find a place on the street nearby and it is not always easy, also very small room. small room for comfort choise. One lady on the reception desk wasn't very nice but the rest were. Room was a little small with 2 suitcases lying around. Breakfast is not included and costs 13 euro per person (kinda stiff). Takes about 12 minutes to walk to Alexanderplatz area. Breakfast could have been included but 11 euro's was not too bad. The room was somewhat small. For Berlin, this hotel looks slightly overpriced (but this would be perfectly ok in many other places). Wireless was flaky. Shame the gym wasn't yet open. the access to wifi wasn't user friendly. we had to insert a password oftenly. the breakfast is expensive (but is very good!). No children chair (yet) available in the restaurant. Happy with everything. No minibar in the room. Room was very small but comfortable.
