I had a car. Free parking here with plenty of room made it a more
pleasant choice to get into the city by train. Just drive a short
distance to the train station and buy an r/t ticket. Much cheaper
and more convenient than trying to stay in the city for tourism.

We rent a car and drove to this hotel, which is in the rather country side, but for sure, you will enjoy quite an amazing view. In the sunny morning of 2nd day, we can see the snowy mountains in the south, quite attractive.
The hotel is well maintained, clean, and the staffs are very friendly, and very glad to offer their help, though some speak no fluent English.
By 5 min drive, you can reach the Starnberger Lake, which is also a nice place to relax and enjoy youself, esp. the beautiful sun
