  The hotel rooms were full so they offered me an apartment instead which is not bad at all. Breakfast is average, good for a 3 stars hotel though. Only one worker speak english, the rest of the staff are only German speakers.   Very friendly and welcoming staff, the hotel was not expensive to eat in and the meals where excellent. The children even enjoyed the set meal! The whole stay was very relxaing with a homely feel, great place! we will be happy to go back anytime.

However, it needs to be said this not the bigger skiing area around Winterberg and there aren't any skilifts to get into this bigger area either.
