Approx 60 miles SW from Munich & 1/2-way between the Bodensee where Germany, Austria & Switzerland meet. About 15 mins from the small airport. It is used by lo-cost airlines to serve Munich.   We stopped overnight when travelling form the UK to The Austrian mountains. The location was ideal and the place was fantastic. We did not stay to look around the area so cannot really comment.
