Been a long time since we stay at a Ibis Hotel. Last time was in 2007. Glad to know that they still are a familiar place. You know what you´ll get when you book a Ibis Hotel. And glad to know that they have improved. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Good shower and room decoration was better than we remember.
Hotel is right in the trains station.

it's a budget hotel in Heidelberg which located next by Train Station. it's far away from old town, you better take city tram or bus or drive to there. have free parking but not enough parking space in front of the hotel. it's hard to find the 2nd parking area, you better ask you travel buddy to go to check-in first and get the instruction with map for getting to 2nd parking area.

This hotel is off the beaten track but that makes it quiet. I stayed for 7 nights in November and never had a problem with noisy neighbors or traffic. It is located close to public transport stops which made it convenient for me to get anywhere I wanted to go. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices at the best price I experienced in my Germany vacation. Casual atmosphere, clean and cozy.
