Hotel bem localizado, perto de restaurantes, à uma curta caminhada da estação central de trens e do escritório de turismo da prefeitura, de onde saem as vans com destino aos belos castelos da região. Bom café da manhã a um custo extra razoável. Location right by station, quadruple glazing meant no train noise. Very convenient for exploring the town, Sunday market down the road opposite the hotel was good for getting provisions when most of the shops were closed.

Not really their fault, but I think the hotel adjoins a set of student residences, and the occupants were pretty noisy the Saturday night I was there. - Breakfast little expensive, but similar to other hotels in the region. - Poor bath supplies. - The corridor in quite short. Can be a little unconfortable for tall people. We were on the third floor, although I had requested a first-floor room, as I don't like lifts. The stairs (a concrete fire escape) were on the outside of the building, poorly lit at night and exposed to the elements. You can hear trains passing by, no shampoo. Just two small details: 1) No place where to hang soap/shampoo while taking a shower 2) I asked to pay cash but they had already charged my credit card. weird smell in the entrance to the room. This hotel is nice for those wanting to travel on a tight budget, but it probably not one for those needing a nice comfortable bed. A bit tired looking but overall, okay. Lots of noisy night-clubbers came back to the hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. Parking was diffficult, the room should have a hairdryer and the only drinks available were from a vending machine and they were atrocious. A little expensive for a truly budget hotel. No room to move and had to climb over our two pieces of luggage. Almost impossible to ventilate the room due to "anti suicide" windowsnAir con did not work resulting in only four hours sleep. the cleaner did not organise the upper beds. Sanitary facilities they are awful (leaking and ceiling is stain by mold and stuff). Air condition unit was insufficient. You can't open the windows. Dirty.
