The great hospitality and warmth of hosts, from Patrice and Denise who could not do enough for you re advice and support. Also, the amazing breakfast with fruit from the garden and homemade cake. The rooms were delightfully appointed. And of course, the amazing wonder dog, Hercule!!! He added to the homely feel of this grand old family chateau and was always keen for pats and love-ins for tourists missing their animals. Thank you Hercule.

Location ideal for sightseeing. House was very clean, full of charm well cared for and took you back to a former era of French architecture, domesticity and culture. Denise was very helpful in recommending and phoning a restaurant to make a booking for us. She tried her best to speak English to us, which was much appreciated.
Denise, Patrick, Matilda and Hercules the wonder dog were all so charming. It was a great relaxing stay were Denise made you feel like you were one of the family. Recommended. Nothing was too much trouble.
The room is clean and comfortable. We had great picnics in the garden. A great location to explore sites nearby like Pech-Merle, Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour.
Friendliness of Mr and Mrs Redon. But the STAR was Hercules, their golden retriever. Elegant manor house in the country.
The style, age and character of the house and garden. The quality of the welcome and the friendliness of the hosts.

It was like being part of the family.
Everything.
We had some trouble finding the correct house although we found the village. This was because on our booking information we had "La Combe" which was the name of the road and not the hotel. Although we enjoyed the breakfast with good choice and plenty, perhaps with English visitors, more than 1 teabag in a teapot should be offered.
The hostess speaks only very simple English, sometimes communication can be a bit tricky.
