  It was a lovely cabin on the river. The room was cosy and clean with a nice view of the river and easy access for a walk along the river. It's a perfect location and peaceful surroundings to stay in if you would like to visit beautiful Macon city which is a 5 minute drive away. The farm animals on the property were nice to see too.

  The decor, the staff and the room facilities were excellent. Within easy walking distance of everything. It's just a pity that Mâcon itself is a little short on tourist attraction. We were "passing through" on our way from Italy to Cherbourg so were not unduly concerned. Our room was soundproofed and there was no problem with traffic noise as reported by others. Parking had been reserved for us as requested.   A very friendly hotel. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. They made room so we could park our car outside the hotel. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the back of the hotel which was really quiet. The room was a nice size and had good quality fittings and furnishings which were aesthetically pleasing.
