Stephanie made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of helpful tourist information. We loved the design of the garden which is very peaceful and tranquil. The interior furnishings of the hotel are beautiful and tasteful and there is a feeling of calm throughout which made us feel very relaxed. The breakfast was excellent and was served on a beautifully laid table. So much attention has been paid to detail. If you want to feel pampered and special then book a stay here.

Delicious breakfast, fresh and plenty of it. We highly recommend La Cour des Grands, we very much enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location near to centre of Arras (10 minute walk) visiting the battlefields etc.Very friendly and helpful area/good restaurants/stunning town hall and centre place. A traditional looking Northern France type house completly renavated, An ultra modern interior with lovely garden outside continuing the modern look. Secure parking and a friendly welcome gave you an instant liking for the place. Good accomadation throughout and a nice French breakfast. I would stay again. The staff were very friendly. The decor and designer garden and patio area were amazing. Eating breakfast outside near the river was lovely. Walking distance to town centre (15mins) was no problem with a wide selection of restaurants to choose from All round an excellent hotel to stay at. Our hostess Stephanie was incredibly accommodating and even went as far as being our taxi service, when a taxi couldn't be found. Lovely comfortable room with a fully equit kitchen. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend. Nice place to stay. 5 minute drive to city centre. An oasis of calm! Friendly welcome, superb continental breakfast and secure parking available for €7 (Good option for bikers). Some English spoken. Will stopover again. The owners were so welcoming and very helpful in finding local points of interest. The breakfast is generous and well presented. Nothing. Saint Nicholas was not on my SatNav so I had to ask at a local cafe having found the approximate area. Also had to drive into Arras, didn't ask about public transport. Attic room meant a limited view through the velux window, but there was plenty of space downstairs and outside to sit and relax. Restricted check in times. Parking on grounds very tight. Unable to access back yard or common area after 9pm. Fairly expensive but modern. Very little. Bit of a walk to the centre but a lovely walk none the less. What's not to like!. Nothing that we can think of!. Nothing. The bed was low to the ground and I felt that it was lopsided. We had a small apartment on 2nd floor. Beware of single steps into kitchen and bathroom. Bath very deep and nothing to hold on to. Not many flat surfaces in bedroom for toiletries etc. Only hand held shower. Nothing to complain about. Nothing. Plastic under sheet was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. Insufficient heating in bathroom, seating at breakfast table too low for comfort. Rooms at front are over a busy road. No where to sit in room No where to put travel case, had to use floor. No excess to hot drinks at night, tray in room would be welcome. Bedroom was rather basic. The bedroom was very small; had to move the bed to open the door. It was more suitable for a single bed -- not a double. The shower was in the bedroom. The toilet was in what should have been the wardrobe, again in the bedroom -- not an actual en-suite. hotels shuts down during day and on evening, during this time you only have acces to your room. location is poor it is in a suburb with no restaurants or bars or supermarkets around. a long walk into town. on day of arrival you cannot enter hotel until 5.00 pm.
