the location was great - right in the heart of St Emilion's old city. Two levels - top level had a double bed and a single (I think i requested the single) and a pull out sofa on the lower level with the fridge, microwave and table. Visit Carlos in the wine store just below the apartment. The room was very clean and looked newly renovated. It had a washing machine and small kitchenette with a decent sized bathroom. The location was perfect; close to town with nearby hiking. The parking spot was close by and free!!!.
所有评语 » A superb location in the heart of St Emilion coupled with a friendly, warm atmosphere. A truly welcoming place and stay. Quiet yet abound with energy, loved everything about logis andraud. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting us to a suitable place to park. The use of a washing machine was fantastic after being on he road for a week. Location was first rate. Drove to the door to unload. Convenient parking. Staff VERY helpful (when available). Beautiful place with limited accommodations. Very central within the town.quite a small apartment but had all you needed.Very clean and tidy.If you have a car,parking good a short distance away. Great location, the tour of the vineyard + wine tasting included was great and Michael was a great tour guide and very informative. well equipped kitchenware location within town cleanliness staff helpful despite speaking very little english. We found it very hard to find the place as the streets are all one way and our GPS sent us along the wrong roads. No place to relax other than bed. Washing machine should be accompanied with instructions. Check-in and check-out a challenge with no front desk. A bit difficult to find with a car.Had problems finding someone who looked after the apartments.He runs the wine shop next door,was away until 3.30pm. The upstairs loft area to sleep was extremely hot and when the windows were open at night to cool off the studio, the street noise was very loud, waking us up through the night. small shower difficult location for parking staff spoke very little english. The beds are in the loft part of the studio, and the low ceiling makes it challenging getting in and out. It was 35c July which if the norm means the room needs air con. As the bed was on a loft the temperature was notably higher there compared to rest of flat. Also the only vent window was blocked a small blind. Not the best use of space (lacks storage) and with windows open the town is noiser than you would expect. Would go back autumn or spring. wifi didn't work. The apartments were somewhat cramped. Not really suitable if you have a lot of luggage or for a long stay. Hot water is not enough for 3 people to take a shower. step staircase to 1st floor apartment. There were no chairs - only two stools. Although we realise room was tight, two folding chairs would have been appreciated. No car streets, need to approach from another direction warning do not follow your GPS. Need to park behind unit but roads are not marked. No reception and wasnt clear where to go to get the keys - went to the wine shop next door to get the keys and found out it was the owner. The Loft area was very hot and had no ventilation. Walls were not sound proof and the stairs to the loft bedroom are not for the faint hearted - do have to duck when you get to the top or you will bang your head. Unfortunatly the wife had a fall at the bottom of the stairs where they wind sharply. no comfortable seating in the apartment,not all the lighting was working,and the shower was broken(unusable). Very cramped, nowhere to get comfortable. Very hot due to ineffective and noisy air conditioning piped through an open window. No hot water for shower! I couldn't imagine if I have to stay in winter.
