  Hotel a L'Oriel is beautiful and has real character and warmth. Spacious, comfortable room with bay window overlooking the cobblestone street and view of the vines on the hills. Stayed there 10 years ago and has remained great. Nice room, great bathroom (by European standards-didn't flood the bathroom when taking a shower), parking at a reasonable price, location, friendly staff (easy to communicate in French, German or English). Will go back there again.

  One word: perfect. It's a 500 year old house with beautiful construction in a lovely environment. In the middle of the Alsace / Elzas wine area. The village Riquewihr is beautiful and pittoresque.
