  This is the second time that we have had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau de l'Abbaye. The Renard family was as welcoming and gracious as ever; showing us to our room, pointing out the features of the room, offering to carry our suitcase. This time we stayed in the room called Marguerite, in the main house. Since we were last there, a private spa has - The superb level of service of the owners,the comfort and quality of the bedrooms and the air condoning during the heat wave conditions during of visit. The set menu evening dinners were by far the best we had on our three week visit to France Our original booking was two days, we extended to three then continued our journey.   I visit Les Sables d'olonne frequently and compared to the other hotels in the area, Atlantic Hotel was the best so far. Very friendly staff and the room was very clean and well presented. Next time, I will try to stay on the ocean-view room!! - Good position, nice clean modern hotel, spacious room, free parking around area
