  I booked this hotel because I wanted to stay on Le Mont Saint Michel for the night and it was quite affordable. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, even with a 2.5 power outage over most of Le Mont that evening. It made it feel even more authentic. I had one of the rooms up the street from the main hotel. Probably because it - It was interesting staying right on Mont St Michel and this hotel is a good value and very easy to find. They have a very nice restaurant however we did not eat there as it didn't open until 7:00 PM and we were tired and hungry before that. There are many eating options from sandwiches to high end restaurants. However, the inexpensive ones closed early (it is November). Don't expect a fancy room. The one we had (a triple) was a bit cramped but one on the floor below us seemed quite a bit b

The chateau itself is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. Best price-quality ratio. I highly rec - Chateau du Rozel sits in a tiny village on a windswept peninsula. It feels like stepping back in time, staying in your own castle. Lovely grounds, hot water, updated bathrooms, fantastic breakfast with homemade jams from the garden. The nearby countryside & beaches were gorgeous. Staff has passable English skills. Best part of all: not touristy! Very authentic.

  The owners wife was lovely and spoke excellent English; she gave her time graciously and hosted a lovely breakfast. The chateau is set in lovely grounds which unfortunately we didn't explore. Large comfortable suite. - The owners are incredibly welcoming and the site itself is magnificent. A must see!

  A delightful manor house of some age situated down a country lane which had been renovated by Eric and his wife. He was a very good host who previously worked in the software industry. He and his wife both own Harley Davidson motorcycles but are not "bikers".!The rooms were interesting, all results of brocante hunting I should think. It's an excellent venue for those wanting to visit the Cherbourg peni - Eric and his wife were wonderful in their welcome. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a bar upstairs whcre you can relax and all Eric asks you do is write down what you have. There is a superb continental breakfast to set you on your way but as we did, we had a nice stroll around the grounds before departing and regrettably after just one night's stay.

  I had booked the wrong night,. but the gentleman was happy to change the night for the night prior with no extra charge, he was really helpful. Bathrooms are great, rooms clean, towels big and fluffy. Right on the railway track but couldn't hear a thing. Nice bathroom accessories and even tea/coffee making facilities in room (unusual in France!). The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a shuttle bus from almost outside the hotel directly to Mont St Michel, so could leave the car in the hotel car park. We had an excellent breakfast which was free for the children.

  What a great B&B! Daniela and Kim made us feel very welcome and had good information about visiting Le Mont St. Michel. We arrived in the late morning, left the car at the B&B and walked up to Le Mont. When we returned, we told Daniela that we had purchased some wine and some Calvados (don't miss trying the Calvados...after all, this is th... 别人怎么说 » e home of the stuff) and she immediately provided us with appropriate glassware. What a treat...we'd been drinking wine out of plastic cups for a coup - We loved everything! Danielle is the perfect host. The B&B is in walking distance to the shuttle to Mount St. Michel. The rooms are meticulously designed to be warm and inviting. Danielle herself is charming, down to earth and extremely helpful. We were very lucky to get a room here at such a late notice. I recommend her lovely rooms to young and mature travelers. We only stayed one night but hope to return to Mount St. Michel and to this B&B in the very near future. Thank you Daniell

  Very top notch quality hotel. The best on the island. Totally first class. - A wonderful, charming hotel right on Mont St. Michel. Very convenient location just inside the gate, so you're not hauling luggage through the narrow, steep streets. The room was spacious, very clean and recently renovated.   I had high expectations for this place and it exceeded them. Incredibly beautiful - both the chateau inside and out, the surrounding gardens, and the view. Christine is a warm and very accommodating host. It's wonderfully secluded but still easy access to Mont St. Michel and other great places to visit in Normandy (with a car). I'm - We have spent a wonderful time at the Chateau La Rametiere. The staff is very friendly and the dog Noby is just adorable. The place, including the rooms, is spacious, comfortable and beatifully decorated. The place is calm and relaxing and easily reacheable if you are by car. We certainly recommend this lovely Chateau on the way to Mont Saint Michel.
