The Residence is close to the bakery, canal and small supermarket and the short walk to each is enjoyable. Further afield, are historic Verdun and the battlefield memorials of WW1. The proprietor of The Residence can assist with tourist information as well as being fluent in French, English, Dutch and German.

  Very hospitable host. We arrived late and were offered dinner, although we had eaten an enormous lunch.   One of the best places I ever stayed! It feels like you are staying with friends at a family-owned castle that still works as an estate with the adjoining farm and fields.
