  out of several excellent meals on this trip dinner at the atalante restaurant was the best... food and wine and service were all great....views from restaurant would also be good but it was dark. - Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Also the hotel is really beautiful and very very comfortable, in a fantastic location. Really had a wonderful time there, and did not want to leave.   Buildings and rooms were of excellent quality. Food was very good; pricey but then so is all Ile de Re. Very good fish. The reception staff were very nice, so were the junior waitresses. Nice position but the beach is not a really good one. Rocks too near the edge. - Location
