I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was overpriced for what was available. The restaurant was clean and the food was basic and again we felt overpriced.
