  We were a little surprised to find this gem of a place at an awesome price when we booked online, but when we arrived, we were even more surprised at how wonderful our hosts Marie and Jean were. The location could not have been better, we loved it our stay. - Hotel by itself is a three story converted town house with high ceilings and modern design. We had a view on ancient Rue Voltaire from our window; it's not far from St. Gatien Cathedral; they have breakfast in the morning; everything is crispy clean and all the guests were very quiet, so if you're looking for a place to relax this should be your choice

  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming.   The hotel is modern, well furnished and clean. The concierge is really nice and speaks really good English (which in France is a really big one!). He was also pretty helpful and froze our cooling packs for us and everything. The room was perfect for two persons and the bath was big, bright and clean. Free parking in front of the hotel. We spend one more night there than originally planned and after seeing another hotel on the night after in the same price range I can say: wo - As always this hotel provided exactly what was required for an overnight between England and the South West of France. Friendly reception, clean comfortable rooms and breakfast. The restaurant over the road where evening meals are available is under new management.

  Very friendly staff - Not much---room was cheap and poorly appointed; bathroom was lacking soap and shower; bed was hard; stuffyw/ little air. It was funky but staff was accomodating and pleasant.

  The Chef produced the best food we had in France on our trip. It was close to Amboise where we wanted to visit. Several of the staff spoke good English. Great shower.
