  We toured Corsica by car in early April, this hotel was our 2nd stop having first stayed in ‘La Pietra’ hotel on the wild peninsula of L’ile Rousse. Les Mouettes has charm and character; it was very clean and tastefully decorated. The website states that check-in is until 20:00hrs but as our ferry only docked at 20:00hrs we didn't get to the hotel until about 20:30hrs and this was not an issue at all.   This place is a haven of peace a few kilometres outside calvi center, with great views of the citadelle and the sea, as well as of the beautiful gardens of the b&b.
