  The staff was extremely helpful. We arrived at 9 in the morning and was allowed our room. The attendant gave us helpful tip for renting a car and also looked up information on haunted castles as well as asked local residents as haunted castles are not a selling feature in Corsica. We cooked our own meals some of the time, a good money-saver, and best: the campground is just across from a beautiful, long beachfront! Very walkable to Calvi's old town. The price was right for the not-quite-high-season (we stayed just before the high season started).
