The location was perfect......across the road from a lovely park. We ate dinner in the cafe in the park and the kids ran off their excess energy in the playground.
The room was more like a small wing of the house. The beds were very comfy and the shared lounge area was gorgeous.
We can't recommend this place enough.....much nicer than a soul-less

Lovely old building; great views of the lake; comfy bed; dog friendly. Also, we found the super Italian restaurant in the village that others have also mentioned!! The chef is a great guy who was happy to feed us at 10pm on a Sunday!!.

Anna the owner made us feel very much part of the family along with Otto and Lola. Her warmth and genuine desire to make your stay a special one is clearly evident throughout. The bedroom was very clean and spacious with an equally appealing en-suite. The breakfeasts were generous and nothing was too much bother. -
