Ideal for us as we had a bike and there was secure storage. it was set in nice grounds however we were on 1st floor and no - Quiet location but near to hotel.   Friendly atmosphere with apartment accommodation that was very user friendly, well kitted out (apart from no tea towels!) and a pleasure to spend time in if you didn't want to go out in the world.
