  We loved everything about the room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower. Our hosts were very accommodating and kind to us trying to speak to them in French. It is a bit difficult to find. Suggest to use the GPS coordinates to locate.   We must say it is a very nice hotel running by very very nice people. We stayed three nights. On the second day, my wife got allergy and couldn't go out. The host lady, Veronique, was very nice to let us eat in our room and prepared food with care. We would thank them again. The food was also excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the owners extremely friendly. We had the reataurant evening meal which was succulent and sooo copious. Typical Dordogne meal of excellent quality. Breakfast was varied on a beautiful terrace. The situation of the hotel is stunning, at the top of a hill in a typical village.

Location was superb, bang in the middle of two ports with beaches, we had a fabulous terrace with an elevated view of the sea. Loved staying there and would definitely return when we can. Highly recommended.

  Evelyn is a lovely host who welcomed us warmly and showed us their beautiful property with horses and dogs. We had an interesting walk through the property and along by the river. It is a very relaxing place to stay as it is a peaceful location in the vineyards. Tea making facility a lovely surprise. - Our hostess was very welcoming. We were offered a choice of rooms and we found our room to be suitable and large. We were in France in July and it was hot so there was no getting around the heat, but the experience outweighed the lack of air con. We were shown around their winery and sampled some of their wines. Very nice and we bought some to bring back to Canada. A lovely restaurant in Cadillac was recommended and we had an amazing meal. Overall, a good experience.

  Pretty much everything. The location was wonderful, rolling vineyards as far as the eye can see. We ate family meals out on the terrace above the vineyards in the evening - perfect quiet spot with the scent from the tilleuls in the yard.   An overnight stay in Bergerac was selected as part of a drive to SW France, and Le Colombier de C&R looked intriguing as a potential stay. I would recommend a visit to historic Bergerac and a stay with Betty as a memorable experience (for the right reasons!) without reservation. Try and reserve the bedroom with the balcony, - The 'chambre' was charming. Very different from the normal accommodation, slightly crazy but it provided all you could need and more. The balcony with hammock was am amazing touch in the middle of the city. Very good breakfast and helpful charming host. Also the city is very interesting and a great place to visit.
