  We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. There is no special carpark but parking can be found easily nearby. We were in the "Caramel" room on the second floor. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The - The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

  Let's face it, Bordeaux and Saint Emilion accommodation is very expensive and as we had a car, we did not want to pay to park. Location of this B&B Chateau is perfect ONLY if you have a car as it's right in the countryside with surrounding vineyards and cute little french towns. Despite the language barrier, we had a lovely time with him laying out - Alain is a wonderful host, and provided us with a very comfy room, real French breakfast, and totally helpful to any of our requests. The place is so quiet, with views over the vineyards from the bedroom. A very authentic French stone house with exquisite pieces of furniture. Alain gave us tips and hints about the area, and provided us with a nice tea on the sunny terrace when we arrived. A must stay in if you are in the area !

  Evelyn is a lovely host who welcomed us warmly and showed us their beautiful property with horses and dogs. We had an interesting walk through the property and along by the river. It is a very relaxing place to stay as it is a peaceful location in the vineyards. Tea making facility a lovely surprise. - Our hostess was very welcoming. We were offered a choice of rooms and we found our room to be suitable and large. We were in France in July and it was hot so there was no getting around the heat, but the experience outweighed the lack of air con. We were shown around their winery and sampled some of their wines. Very nice and we bought some to bring back to Canada. A lovely restaurant in Cadillac was recommended and we had an amazing meal. Overall, a good experience.

This room was a very large king bed room with a huge luxury bathroom. High quality facilities. Restaurant was pricey but very high quality gourmet cooking. They served on the outdoor terrace which was beautiful. First class terrace & service set among their winery overlooking miles of grape vineyards. Eat there for sure. We planned to eat there once and ended up their both evenings.

  Pretty much everything. The location was wonderful, rolling vineyards as far as the eye can see. We ate family meals out on the terrace above the vineyards in the evening - perfect quiet spot with the scent from the tilleuls in the yard. Was really pleasantly surprised to arrive down a lovely tree lined drive and be warmly welcomed to the building which has been beautifully restored. Great facilities, and great to be able to buy local wines and drink on the Terrace overlooking stunning views of vineyards. Lovely room, and all spotlessly clean. Only disappointment was the weather was not good enough to use pool or hot tub. Definitely recommend and hope to return.
