I never write a review and I am a big traveller, and I feel there have been some nasty reviews about this lovely place... I want to set it right. After reading some, I was preparing my boyfriend to be disappointed on the way there. We were absolutely chuffed with our hotel room. Very clean, very helpful staff who actually put in an effort to find a place we could find mussels for dinner that night. For how much it cost, the service and the room, I feel like we got a real steal. Air conditioning.
所有评语 » - Hotel arranged for pick up from train station, which worked out quite nicely - Picked the hotel on purpose away from station, as arriving and departing stations were different. - Location is still very good, right on Metro stop, and next to terminus for 2 buses, which go to Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and Gare du Nord. Made it easy for us to get on the bus with our luggage to go to Gare du Nord. Also found Subway and an Indian restaurant practically next door, which took care of our food needs. the location was perfect,the metro station was outside the hotel,everything you need was really close,the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was every day clean! I think we made the right choice and I would love to stay in it again!. I liked everything of this hotel, nice rooms large bathroom excellent breakfast helpful staff nice hotel interior and excellent accessibility. I highly recommend this hotel and right next to the hotel is amazing bar-restaurant. Almost everything, the bed is comfy, design is simple, room is small but thats alright we only stayed for 3 nights. Would recommend! And its right beside metro station! Its only 15mins metro from all tourist attractions. Good location, in front of Metro (line 4). Room was brand new, with ac recently installed, good size for a couple. Very nice bathroom, staff speaks English, very polite. WiFi works only for checking emails. I liked the way the hotel was designed and decorated. A lot of effort was put into getting the most out of the spaces available and it felt safe and homely. Big bonus was free wi fi throughout. The hotel is very conveniently situated just by the Porte d'Orleans metro station. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and had everything necessary. size of room (booked the comfort room, huge for Paris), free wifi, nice staff (tried to speak english & german), location (metro right outside the door). Well located for Metro into central Paris. A couple of decent restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. The Triple was quite spacious and good value. Location is next to the metro station which is great although it is far off the city center but that was not an issue. Location a little bit far but all facilities are steps from the hotel. Location was perfect! Hotel clean. close to metro, small, convenient. - Had a lot of problems with WiFi. Each floor has its own WiFi id and password and it did not work most of the time - You have to walk up one level and then walk through a corridor before reaching the lift. - Older building, but probably on par with similar properties in Paris - Bathtub, with an awkward glass door that covers only half, leaving lot of space for water to spill out, if you are having a shower. The bathroom itself is quite small. - Breakfast expensive and not included in price. The room was too small,but it depends,for a young couple who is out all day was ok.Also you have to go upstairs in order to take the elevator and this is quite tough if you have handbags. Paper thin walls, if you're a light sleeper you'll have a bad time at night. They have elevator, but you there are some stairs to reach it. Insulation is not so great, you can listen other conversations in other rooms. Doors make a lot of noise opening/closing, you can also hear that from other rooms. The rooms and en suite were a small, thankfully we are all small in family. The space in en suite is tight. Sound from outside is not a problem but you could hear the adjoining bath or shower . Breakfast at 12€ for kids is high, normally they don't eat a lot. The traffic policeman blowing his whistle outside!. Can hear some street noise at night, but not terrible. 21 steps walking up to get to elevator access on first floor was unpleasant surprise with heavy suitcase. The hotel came to clean the room even I put the do not disturb sign when we were out. Then the door was's lock after that. Nothing. Not imposing but it would be nice to have coffee/tea in the room. Probably not French custom in hotels. No air conditioning in the rooms. So, on warm evenings, we had to open our windows. The street noise made sleeping well very difficult. Almost impossible to find parking space (public parking). Elevator was just on the first floor. The breakfast was very expensive for the offer, not worthy it!. It's a little further out of town than is ideal and rooms are predictably small - although perhaps unsurprising for the price. When I arrived after a ver tiring trip I was received by a very cold receptionist who for some reason was not happy that morning, the one who was int he evening was very sweet and I complained to him about the one in the morning and it worked! the next morning he was far more welcoming! wifi is really bad... they have a big issue with the cleanliness. 1 staff member. At checkout credit card machine was broken. He asked me what I was going to do! Not helpful and putting the problem on the customer. He finally let me pay hotel next door and they paid him back. Not what they would teach in hotel management classes!.
