We expected this to be similar to Australian motel accommodation but it was much better. The service provided by all the staff far exceeded our expectations. We were given help with dinner recommendations and bookings and also the staff were very helpful about suggested drive routes and places to stop. Plenty of secure onsite parking. The breakfast room was very nice and the tables out on the terrace were great to sit at and use the free wifi over a glass of beer or a coffee after a day out. Th.
所有评语 » The hotel was easy to find and parking was convenient close to the rooms with terrace. The place is situated only about 10 minute walk from the center of beautiful Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Room, beds and bathroom were big, stylish and extremely clean. Garden is beautiful Provence style and everything is well taken care. Their buffet breakfast was best we had during our one week stay in Haute-provence and Nice. I felt the staff was really doing everything to make us feel home. They spoke well E. It is ideally located for visiting the town and the surrounding areas, being in perfect walking distance and location on the road. The rooms were well equipped and laid out, pool was perfect for a cool down on a hot evening. The staff were excellent, fully equipped with information about the area and any walks in the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was good. Would recommend without hesitation. Fabulous hotel! We enjoyed the large rooms with a huge bathroom. The hotel was well located to the beautiful village of Moustiers, just a 10minute walk. The breakfast was very good in a lovely room also with a very nice terrace to enjoy your coffe or an evening aperitif. The staff were great and very helpful with guiding us in the right direction and recommending the fine local restaurants. Welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Feeling of being independent. Space, calm. Good breakfast although, to make it near perfect.......(see opposite) Lovely position with proximity of very good restaurant, La Ferme St Cecile, recommended by hotel staff who also made the booking for us. The staff greeted us warmly and were very helpful getting us settled in. The hotel is in a nice location at the edge of town, with easy access in and out. It is a gorgeous setting to wake up and stay in. We also enjoyed having breakfast available for us. I would definitely stay here again. Great location with superb views and just 5 minutes walk from the village of Moustier. Exceptional breakfast, especially when taken on the sunny terrace with views of the mountains. Relaxing, clean, well located and a warm, very gracious staff made for a wonderful stay near the Gorge du Verdon. The views were nice, the terrace charming, the room was spacious and comfortable and the pool was refreshing -- would recommend highly. Although it is a 3 star hotel you get a very good feeling by the size of the room, cleanness and breakfast quality. It's very close to the village and has a free parking place. Possibly adding another easy chair or sofa as bedroom is spacious, making it slightly cosier - room rather bare. The was nothing I did not like. Nothing. Nothing!. The breakfast was poor. Only downside was the route we took thru the verdon gorge which was single track most of the way & extremely mountainous. Moustiers is a real tourist trap but quite s down in the evening. Wifi was not avilable in the room. Wi fi access was only available in common areas. no safe deposit box in room. no english tv channels. Nothing. Pool area not very aesthetic! All concrete and very small. Small bed! Room very plain. Needs more furniture and a painting or two!. - no bottle of water in the room - no fridge to keep own fresh water or local fruits. bit short of furniture in the room. Wi-Fi not available in bedroom. Internet signal weak in the room. nothing. Heating system couldn't be turned down sufficient. Duvets too thick for season. There's nothing not to like !!. no restaurant and bar very poorly stocked It was very difficult to find food nearby as most of town shut for winter but still no parking spaces near the one open restaurant.
