Its proximity to the old village of Perouges & to the centre of town. The lady was very welcoming & offered to help when we considered our route south on departure. The room was very pleasant and spacious--loved having a door opening to a small balcony with chairs. It was also handy to have a nice restaurant next door. The close proximity to the medieval city was what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. In addition, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
