The hosts, the welcome, the friendliness, the cosmopolitan air of the villa. We had the most wonderful week at the La Villa and both the food and the welcome surpassed our expectations. Mark and Peter are charming, consummate hosts and made us feel like friends before we left. We will return. We particularly liked the use that Peter made of seasonal products when designing the menu. Whilst there was a fan in our room and we understand that the age and architectural layout may have caused difficulties, we felt it would have benefitted from air conditioning in the bedroom.
