I liked everything about this hotel. I arrived late in the evening but there was a free shuttle bus up until 11.30 p.m. and I received a very friendly welcome. The receptionist made me a great cup of tea on arrival and I was given a room right next to the lobby which was air conditioned, completely silent and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillow were wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom was quite a good size and I had a great night's sleep followed by a marvellous breakfast (cereals, juice.

This hotel is ideally placed for flying in and out of Marseilles. It has a free shuttle service and in fact is within walking distance of the terminal buildings. The rooms have large opening windows, great for real fresh air, and a comfortable bar and dining room. The shower in the room is excellent and the room is reasonably spacious. The on going work on one of the two elevators means that the working elevator is patched up and a bit grubby looking and the blanked off second elevator does nothing for the general appearance, but hopefully this will be sorted soon. Cigarette smoke was coming through the air vents so I had to cover the vents with a towel. No minibar, no shop or machines to buy a snack or a coke, no coffee in room. The breakfast was not included in the room price and was relatively very expensive. On the site it is stated that there is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but we arrived at 12 pm and the shuttle run only until 11.30. I mailed the hotel asking about the shuttle one day before arrival and never got answered. could have had less expensive entrees on menu. Meals and eating oppotunities are less. No air conditioning and it was warm at night. Could not leave window open because of airport noise and mosquito warning. Since they advertise air it should of been available. The hotel refuses international credit cards (without a French chip). Unfriendly staff. No catering after 11:00 PM. There were moth holes in the curtains, the design was really dated, the bathroom was in a strange pod inside the room, and the room itself was small and stuffy. There was advice not to open the windows because of the mosquitoes.
