  Ann was the best hostess in any hotel we have stayed in! From the moment we first spoke on the phone when we phoned to apologise for being late arriving to the moment she waved us off on our departure, she was bubbly, fun and helpful. We almost didn't pick the chateau because the information indicated that internet was only available in the public area.   The hotel is in a peaceful setting close to the wood but not too far from Ambois . It is very ideal to travel around the Loire Valley from this point. We had a perfect stay and were received by a very gentle host. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is neatly arranged with local stuffs.   The Chef produced the best food we had in France on our trip. It was close to Amboise where we wanted to visit. Several of the staff spoke good English. Great shower. The local patisserie was excellent. - Rooms very comfortable, lovely restaurant, quiet, staff very helpful. Used it as an overnight stop on our way further south.
