We returned to the wonderful best Western Why for a night to attend the Lille Braderie. This is a great comfy little hotel with good sound proofing, great views and an excellent position just off the Grand Place. An emergency meant that we had to bring our cat along and although they have a no pets policy we were taken care of thanks to the fabulous letsbookhotel.com customer service team and Phillipe on reception. Our first choice hotel for visiting Lille.
所有评语 » The guy who dealt with us on reception was very very kind and efficient. This hotel is a little gem....modern, chic, perfectly placed for the centre of town. Room was stunning, new, fresh and very trendy. High quality cosmetics in the bathroom. Nespresso machine with genuine cartridges. Free mini bar. It really couldn't get any better. If you have chance book a lunchtime meal, the chef is clearly very good. I will definitely return!. Lovely boutique hotel situated not too far from all the local attractions. If you are particularly interested in shopping then it is just around the corner. The staff were lovely and the rooms were very modern with all the mod cons including a coffee machine and free mini bar. The breakfast was also very, very good. The staff in general was extremely friendly and professional. I would like to recognize Imane, sebastien, Deborah, Florence and Sylvia... and also one of the managers (told blond man) but unfortunately I didn’t get the name... You guys made our vacations much more pleasant. The hotel rooms are really nice and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel bar is also a cool place and serves really good wine by the glass. The location is also perfect - not too far from the railway station but close to the old Lille with lots of restaurants and bars etc. All staff (reception, restaurant and housekeeping) were fabulous, very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Location is very good, easy walking distance to train station, city centre and shopping. Rooms are comfortable. Cold beverages (water, juice etc) were appreciated. The cleanlyness of the room and the rest of the hotel. The free (that is to say in the rate included) minibar and wifi. The facilities in the room were excellent, lovely toiletries l'occitane, free mini bar, robe, slippers even shower scrunchy. the room was light and airy and spacious, well designed and in a good location. The shower was absolutely wonderful. I loved the L'Occitane products. Bed very comfortable, beautiful cotton sheets. Parking was offered nearby at a reasonable charge. Nespresso machine. Interior decor. The hotel is gorgeous, rooms quite small but with a perfect location of every single piece of furniture. Minibar and Nespresso machine in the room are for free! Staff friendly and ready to help. The hotel was excellent for positioning, staff, comfort and food in dinette/bar. The added extras of the coffee maker and free mini bar just topped it off. Will stay again next time in Lille. The staff were very helpful moving us to another room when we had a noise problem in our original room.The staff were also extremely friendly.The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The kids especially liked the hotel and was happy to stay in just enjoying the room i.e. bed, television, use of Wifi, bathroom etc. It was very central. The hotel is just fabulous. Nothing. Small gripe, the hotel parking was inaccessible during the festival due to road blocks. They had arranged an alternative but failed to notify guests before arrival so we like a few others wasted time trying to get our car to the hotel. I understand that they intend to plan ahead for this next year. Nothing, superb hotel. Only small criticism was that the rooms were very small. The room was too cold, I was freezing in the morning. I tried to adjust the heating but it had been turned off. Hotel has been given a recent update, which although is very attractive is not practical. Very deep bathtub looks great but was very, very difficult to get in and out of in order to have a shower. It also looked less comfortable for a bath! I understand steps were to be added but even that would not make access easier. The bathrooms look fabulous on paper but really are not practical. There was a rather unpleasant (some sort of chemical) odeur in the hallway to our room. And there was only one bath robe present. As we weren't planning on using it, we didn't bother to check with reception, but it seems silly to only provide one bath robe in a double room. Nothing except we were'nt there longer. The mini bars in the rooms although well stocked were not working, therefore the drinks were warm. There was nothing that we disliked but just a comment that something could be done to ensure the water doesn't splash out while showering. It may have been the particular room (classic room) we were in, however it was very small, with not much more room than the bed and desk etc. not a thing... Parking was an absolute Nightmare, and I was a bit upset that the fridge for the free minibar was broken. I was desperate for a cold drinking( after taking forty minutes to find somewhere to park!) and all the drinks were lukewarm. However, this last point is pretty minor!. Nothing at all to complain about. No real place to store clothes for extended stay. Closet was good for shirts/pants/dresses but no shelves/drawers. No electrical sockets near mirrors No mirrors near electrical sockets Difficult to use a hair curler. Put 6 capsules into Nespresso machine over 3 days but only ever got hot water - no coffee No peephole in door. only issue was the lack of air conditioning for one night. reported to the reception on departure. One bath robe in the room there should be two. Send your staff to the local restaurants so they have first hand knowledge on the best ones. Didn't have breakfast as it was too expensive if you didn't want very much. Led coloured light display around the shower seemed a bit strange especially as they wouldn't turn off . . . nothing. Need to find public parking area if you travel by car. Sound proofing could have been better; a missing glass panel on the shower meant lots of water splashed onto the bathroom floor. Parking. Hotel has only 10 spaces. We were sent to the car park, but it was full. Parked elsewhere for 18 Euro a day. Having a really nice coffee machine in the room and no- one replacing coffee pods, milk etc. We had to ask 3 times and only got the 2 coffee pods, no milk, no more teabags. This was a relatively small but really irritating issue that should not have occurred - lack of communication between reception staff and housekeeping not doing their job properly. Also water not replaced in minibar. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Mini bar and tea/ coffee could have been better stocked up!. breakfast extra bed slightly too hard. Nothing. Fridge did not work.
