This is my second time at a B&B hotel the other in Dresden and I have found then of equal standard very very good The hotel is a little way from the centre of Lille but easy to get to by bus or Metro the hotel offers very Clean comfortable rooms, Super friendly and efficient staff, good car parking, and a great Breakfast Buffet and I would be happy to Stay there again and recommend it to Family and friends Its a Super hotel at a great price.
所有评语 » Amazing value! The B&B Lille Centre Grand Palais is an exceptionally clean and well appointed budget hotel. Room was well soundproofed . Just looking for somewhere offering a decent night's sleep and a pleasant space to prepare myself in the morning for the day ahead. This place more than met my needs. nice personnel, clean rooms, close to the city centre (10 minute walk), bars, cafes, supermarket nearby, easy to find, good wifi connection, decent breakfast for a good price, combination of parking garage and city centre proximity. The staff was very friendly, ready to give us any information. The silence in the room even if the room was near the highway. The hotel is located 15 minutes of walk to the Central Railway Station and 20 to the city center. I had a lovely stay at B&B Grand Palais, the stuff was very friendly; clean room. It is a little tricky to find first time and out of the way to get to major town centres. a strong smell of air freshner in the room, so had to keep the window open for a while; would have liked to have a hair dryer, but not necessary. The absence of soap near the sink in the bathroom. We were forced to enter the shower each time we wanted to wash only our hands. No refrigerator available. The wifi did not functioned for the entire journey. It is about a 15min walk from the centre, and unfortunately it was raining :( but it was OK. Nothing really. Great concept for budget conscious travellers. No fan in bathroom, room inadequately ventilated. About a 30 minute walk to the City Centre, we don't mind a walk, but this is not the place for people who like everything n their doorstep. on arrival lift would not come down to carpark but only two steps to climb to reception, room was not ready so moved to another, rooms are small heating not working and small fire was fine for size, very difficult to find print off map if going to this hotel. The location is a bit too far from the old Lille city center. I had to walk 25 minutes back and forth. Recommend for business visiting but not for the one who wants to see the city center. Only problem was breakfast. Never enough eggs or bread. Car park was very good but a little expensive. Breakfast is little. Found Lille unattractive - rubbish, beggars, wasteland (not fault of hotel). Bit further from the City Centre than we thought. Beds very hard. The walk to the old part of the city was a bit long. Location difficult to find - need to contact the hotel for details that a sat. nav. can recognise. Had no internet. nothing. No tea and coffee in the room. Coffee at breakfast. The hallway which led to the room STUNK of smoke, it was disgusting. The free Wi-Fi needed you to enter a code from a text which they would send you, not good when your phone is unable to receive signal abroad, they have a system in place to get the code for customers but it didn't work for me or my friend, maybe it will for other customers I'm not sure. Though Breakfast was included - My Mistake, but wouldn't have paid that rate for this hotel without Breakfast included. The room was really very small, and no atmosphere at all. You can sleep there, nothing else. Downstairs at the reception area everything is brightly lit and clean, not really a place to sit and relax. You are more or less forced to go out into the city. And the hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre, which is quite a long way away for a city trip. Small room but adequate for a stop over. very small room, there is airco in the room but doesn't really work, also far away from city centre (about 20 mins walk). First room had window obscured by sign but staff were friendly and moved us straight away. -Expensive as use to happen in France, even this not as expensive. No hairdryer or toilet brush in room. Rooms was on the small side but it it didn't matter we were there only for 2 nights. Finding the hotel when we first arrived was a bit challenging so be aware of it. Room too small for the bed. Hard to climb in and out when it is hard against the wall. Odd smells. location. limited English level of reception staff.
