I had heard lots of good things about Oustau and it did not disappoint. The grounds are stunning. We stayed at the Manoir in a room with a terrace. It basically had it's own private patio. The room itself was quite large and had a more rustic charm, the bathroom was fantastic and updated with all the amenities. The gardens and the main property were beautiful as well. We ate lunch at the 2 star Michelin restaurant at the hotel. It was very pricey (as expected) but definitely worthwhile. As one.

It was a fantastic experience. The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant to die for. Beautiful environment. Tastefully appointed rooms. Like your own country retreat Exceptional food. I liked everything. Its beautiful. Super hotel. everything. The restaurant was great, extensive wine selection, great service at dinner. location and breakfast. The continental breakfast was 52 Euros for two people. It did not seem worth it, but there are not any nearby options for breakfast. I didnt like the way we left the hotel. Nobody even asked about how was our stay and, nobody say - we would be happy to see you againg among our guests!. nothing. The room was very average especially for the price. It lacked style and even though it had been recently painted (which was not nice to breathe) the rest of the room especially bathroom appeared tired. Disappointing felt we were paying for the name. Bedroom N°1 is just not acceptable in a "relais et chateaux" and never worth 320€ for one night and breakfast for two people. it is the poorest accomodation we've ever experienced in a "5 stars hotel" . We were not put in the main hotel but in a family villa in the village completely alone had to take the car to go to Rest and the rest.
